Purchasing classics there

Take a look at this beautiful Volkswagen Westfalia from sunny California. A living legend, it remains a popular old-timer. I myself am not looking for American or European classic cars to purchase, but I regularly and like to visit Bert Zijlstra, to admire his special cars that he has found during his searches.

By: Dirk de Jong

The most exclusive classics are exported from his showroom in Damwoude to many countries in Western Europe and Scandinavia. What is special is that Bert has a network of contacts in Arizona that track down the most special cars. The highest priority is quality, the California Classics showroom is an Eldorado for the real enthusiast.

Praise

The Volkswagen Westfalia Camper Van offers a lot of space, is reliable and safe, the comfort makes long journeys pleasant. The interior of the car has a tasteful layout. Even on longer journeys there is no fatigue, there is an abundance of legroom.

Campervan

It is your living room, dining room and bedroom. It is a private house on wheels, free and independent on the move and not tied. You can travel where you want and stay where you want.

To dream

If you see this extremely beautiful Volkswagen Westfalia Camper van, isn't that something you've always dreamed of? The car for the whole family and everything that goes with it? A rolling house on wheels (and cheaper than a summer cottage). Weekend trips with friends, the hotel car on wheels, could it be better?

Satisfaction test?

The classic and active motorist's heart gives Bert plenty of pleasure in his daily work. It is enriching to do business in this way with many countries, and always satisfied buyers who do not have to take a 'satisfaction test', because the enthusiasm is noticeable and visible. We would of course like to see this on the Dutch road, but the eye-catching old-timers and classics often disappear across the border. In any case, I could not really suppress my enthusiasm for the Volkswagen Westfalia, as witnessed by this article. Or maybe that's an exaggeration? What do you think, a nice car or not?

  1. It's a bit of a strange article, because it leaves up to you whether the bus is for sale or not. At first you would say yes, given the promotions, but the bus cannot be found on the seller's website. But nowhere in the article does it say specifically that the bus is for sale. So the question is how the article is intended.

  2. Nice in itself, although it's not my thing. Personally, however, I am never a fan of companies that only add “price on request” everywhere, usually translated as “what the madman gives (too much) for it”.

    • Haha, you could call it screaming and ugly, but on the other hand, at least it's colorful. Now everything is 50 shades of gray, that gets boring in the long run.
