Alfa Romeo can boast a glorious history in automotive technology and design, excelling in style. With each Alfa you see the master hand of the designer, the architecture of the Alfa's by Henk is unmistakably Italian elegance. The White Alfa Romeo Giulia Nuova Super with license plate 1979, but built in 1977, the Alfa 147 GTA (2003) and the Alfa Giulia 2019. This collection evokes reactions and can touch the hearts of enthusiasts. It is clear that Henk is a supporter of the one and only car race in the world.
Alfa Romeo Nuova Super
This unprecedented beauty has a special history, after it stood still in an old shed for more than 30 years in a dismantled state due to damage. Later the car was purchased by the well-known former Alfa Romeo dealer in Berlikum. After a beauty treatment (new white paint coat) and the rebuilding of the carriage and engine, as well as a major overhaul, the Alfa in the possession of Henk (2014) and was added to his hall of fame. Fortunately, we live in a time where enthusiasts are willing to do anything to revive the past, Henk is a good example of this. Henk is therefore sensitive to the design, appearance and impression that the Alfa Romeo Giulia Nuova Super on the road, Alfa clearly has a large following of admirers.
Alfa group of friends
Who a Alfa belongs to a special breed of people where possessions sometimes fade into the background and fun with friends and shared rides come to the foreground. His friends ride too Alfa's, every ride becomes a real party. Over the years there have been several holiday trips to the roots of the country Alfa's: Italy.
Tough Italian
Henk: “My super car is now an impeccable car, the steering is wonderfully sporty, and the sound of the 'Nord' is addictive. A major shortcoming in this article is that there is no sound, the sound works! It is somewhat angular and square, but despite this it has a better CW value than, for example, the streamlined coupes that were based on the Giulietta. The double headlights emphasize the sporty character, the 1,6 4-cylinder power source has sufficient power. With its relatively low weight, the Nord's good torque and rear-wheel drive, it can easily cope with today's traffic. What often produces nice, surprised reactions from fellow road users is a lot of “Smiles per gallon”, to put it in enthusiast terms.”
Immeasurably proud!
Henk: “I am immensely proud and careful of my car collection, I have previously driven: 33, 145, 155, 156. and several other models, all of them wonderful. Alfa's, it is a list of honors that will remain in the memory. I am devoted to my elderly person Alfa Romeo Giulia Nuova Super, but as you can read, I don't close my eyes to the more modern ones either Alfa's. Special enough to show to other enthusiasts, cherished and proudly displayed. On our trips to Italy we often encounter other classics and vintage cars in the wild, we flash our headlights and wave a lot. That behavior is a pleasant deviation, a wonderful part of the feeling of being an Alfist.”
Surely every enthusiast of youngtimers, classics and vintage cars on 2 or 4 wheels will have a list of what he would like to have? If such a Super is on your list, and because there are so many other nice ones for me Alfa's, the sale of the Supertje (only to an enthusiast) is negotiable.
Gerard,
It is and remains a hell of a car, a lot of driving pleasure.
Have 7 of them now. I renovated this 2 years ago, with a 2 liter in it.
Nice copy.
I have several top cars with pizzazz alfaStarted with a junior, then Alfetta, various Giulletas, a 90 and the beast a 75 3ltr. v6 America still have a 2 ltr Giulleta from 1986 in the shed, the 75 had already been introduced then, I bought it when it was 3 years old
Hallo,
Know exactly what you mean in your article... this was mine... had to sell due to circumstances... always regretted it...

I assume you are referring mainly to the era of the Giulias, Berlinas, 90, Alfetta sedan and the like, which were indeed angular, just like many brands/models at that time...
De Alfa's from before and after those years were and are mainly streamlined 😉
this amazing Alfa I had a light yellow one.
Driven from 1976 to 1979.
Still enjoying it now, after so many years.
It remains a delightful car! I learned to drive one in the late 60's and ended up owning two. Indeed, that sound... I would love to start doing it again!
What is stopping you?
I may know of a Super copy that is for sale 😉
Well. I only find a few alfas really beautiful. Spiders and such. For the rest, rather square, lace does not help. What is distinctive is the quirk, the large size alfaso thing on that. The rest is like almost all other designs. Almost all French cars, much nicer. Something like taste or politics, so there are arguments again. Of course, technology remains something to enjoy
