These Dafs evolved into Volvo are the quickest cousins in the 340 family: they were pure rally beasts.
Apparently a few hundred have been made and nearly as many have been killed in battle.
Traveling and driving we found a totally desolate body shell along the way en a copy that is going to be reborn in new condition.
The man behind the restoration is Teus Voskuil. And Teus is discussing with the two only other well-known owners of such an 343 R to make their cars new again.
