Class of 62

In 1962 a lot of new cars came onto the market. As with wine, you have good and bad years. There is no telling why a particular year will be good or bad.

If the weather conditions are good and there is plenty of wine, prices will be lower than if there is less wine of a better quality. When we look back now, we can say that in 1962 very high-profile cars were introduced on the market. The car from 1961 that most appealed to the imagination is the Jaguar E type. Just give me one, in gunmetal gray please. I would like to choose two cars from 1962. I will tell you what they are later. In the next few articles on this website I will highlight some of those cars that came on the market in 1962. We are going to look at all kinds of different cars. Of course there are exotics among them, but also ordinary cars. They have at least one thing in common: they will all turn XNUMX this year. The age of some of them is not visible. Other models, on the other hand, look very elderly. The same goes for performance. Where one car can still get along fine in current traffic, you think when you think of the other: “kicking along”. Which cars will be the subject? We're gonna watch the MG B, Triumph Spitfire, Ford Cortina, Morris 1100, Cobra, Lotus Elan, Ferrari GTO and the Alfa Romeo Giulia Super.
