The enthusiast had to wait three years for it. But from 28 to 30 October, it can again visit the halls of Waregem Expo for a nice fair. The first edition took place in 2015, the last in 2019. This always happened under the name Waregem Oldtimer Event. And now this fair returns, with a new set-up. And with a new name. The event is now called Classic Event Waregem.
The event in Waregem made a name for itself during the first five editions with an interesting collection of collector's items and a nice range of trade. This year, too, the focus of the event in Waregem Expo is on the sale of exclusive automobiles. You will also find automotive art, vintage furniture, beautiful car literature and automobilia. The organization of Classic Event Waregem will once again exhibit the offer within a retro frame where accessible, illustrious and exclusive classics go hand in hand with each other.
Renewed design
The organizers of The MAD Group renewed the set-up in the run-up to the event. For example, the route in Waregem Expo leads past various theme areas. For example, the start of the route for visitors starts at the Rue des Artistes, where much is devoted to automotive art. The visit is continued along beautiful themes with exclusive cars and classics with a sporty touch. Within this trade-oriented event, the emphasis has shifted further towards decorum, look and feel.
Rally roadbook and classic appraisal
Compared to the last Waregem Oldtimer Event, the organization built in even more new parts. For example, the organizers are making a free digital rally roadbook available to those who buy a ticket for Classic Event Waregem, also to travel to West Flanders 'in the right atmosphere and with the right experience'. And whoever travels to Waregem with a classic car can park the car for free in a specially equipped car park. Classic Car Survey provides valuations of the classics in Waregem on request. Gert Beets will perform this during Classic Event Waregem. Visitors can book a valuation in advance.
