We're going to die. All of them. The commercial with Adelheid Roossen caused many people to be annoyed. Why? Well, there is always something annoying about many people. And what kind of classic hearse do you choose?
But that dying and saying goodbye has arrived at a 'next level'. The range of 'hearsees' has also increased throughout that process, so that the last ride does not necessarily have to be driven in a Cadillac or Mercedes. Such a ride can cause a strange situation. My own father has always been amazed at what I saw in American V8s. No further thought was given when arranging his farewell.
But the man who saw American cars as completely useless made his last ride in a Cadillac. Classic transport enthusiasts can now at least travel in style to their final resting place in a classic hearse. There is a serious range of suitable means of transport. There is also a suitable classic hearse for old rockers 'who do not die but just fade away'.
Adelheid Roossen is of course right. But for however far later it is, it is not wrong to keep an eye on the finitude of everything. And as you lived with your own style, you can now say goodbye to the world in a classic hearse of your own style.
