Correct: The apparently phenomenal Simca 1307-1308. And what happened to that car happened to more winners of the masterly title 'Car of the Year'. He flopped.
After being ventilated, he came back for a moment, but the Simca Chrysler Talbot era has never been under a happy star.
And most cars from that time have already completed their first round of blast furnaces
Yet we have had a weak spot for Simca. Like in 'My Father's Car'. (And later the Ralley 2 from an older neighbor boy).
So if you are the lucky owner of a Simca 1307-1308, do you want to report? Then we would like to make a story about your pride.
You can do this via redactie@amklassiek.nl or simply via this message.
I own an 1308 GT.
not in competition condition and this shows what kind of separate places they could rust.
Also an 1500 in nice condition.
And an 1100 delivered by the garage that we have in the family. My grandfather used to be a Simca dealer with his brothers. Now the garage still exists and the 1308 and 1100 are together in the showroom.
Wonderful cars.
