A year ago Central Classics opened the gates in Houten. In a relatively short time the fair has become a fixed value for motorcycle and moped enthusiasts. The exhibition sold out for exhibitors will be held for the third time this weekend. Participants from home and abroad will make their appearance in Houten (again) this coming weekend.
The three halls of Expo Houten will be filled with motorbikes, mopeds and parts. Visitors also find things such as documentation, clothing, helmets and tools under the smoke of Utrecht. The organization has indicated that the proportions within the range are well matched.
Clubs and mini workshops
Of course the countless clubs make their appearance. The organization has also succeeded in linking three interesting themes to the now traditional mini lectures. This weekend, attention will be paid to the origins of the café racer. A second theme is completed by an adventurous motorcycle ride through the Middle East. The environmental zones are also discussed. In Houten they are linked to their origin in connection with two-stroke emissions. The organization zooms in on the (possible) consequences for classic mopeds. The following applies to all mini-lectures: they are given by enthusiasts for enthusiasts.
Motors and mopeds neatly distributed
Visitors will find an even distribution of the exhibited offer in Houten this weekend. The space in hall 1 and part of hall 2 is reserved for motorbikes. Another part of hall 2 - and the entire hall 3 - will inspire admirers of mopeds. Hall 2 has recently been renovated and now has the same height and decoration as hall 1. Together with the terraces for a drink and a snack in each hall, and the restaurant for more extensive food, visitors can easily spend a whole day in Houten.
Motorized two-wheelers in a Christmas atmosphere
Since the Central Classics fair takes place during the weekend before Christmas, the organization has applied a Christmas tint. The range and atmosphere are excellent ingredients for a great trade fair weekend! Entrance a decade, ladies and children up to 12 year free access, parking is free.
The fair is held on Saturday 17 and Sunday 18 December in Expo Houten, Meidoornkade 24, 3992 AE Houten. Opening times Saturday from 10.00 to 17.00 hour, Sunday from 10.00 to 16.00 hour.
