Purchasing classics there

Jan Freark and his brother Jan Bastiaan are busy every day in their company with the range of sporty and exclusive cars. But our interest is in the private collection; fast Fords from the 80s, all with the ticket behind the windshield: Not for sale. Due to the drive and passion for the hobby, every Ford with the sporty image was set aside and kept. The first Ford Escort RS Turbo is now 25 years old, this RP-ZT-49 is the basis of the collection that also consists of Escorts RS Turbos from the years 1988, 1989, 1994 and 1997.

Sporty top version of Ford

This Ford is actually a separate category in Ford history. Designed by people with a very special view on sportsmanship. People who knew how pure driving pleasure should take shape in driving. We are talking about the now unique Ford Escort Cosworth RS, with the internationally successful 2,0 Liter DOHC 16 valve turbo engine developed by Cosworth. Cosworth is more than known for his partnership with Ford and the performance is highly respected in motorsport. This top version of Ford has the unique high rear spoiler, an air-distributing front spoiler and widened wheel arches at the front. Also featured on this super car, the air vents. Worthy of its class!

Sporty image?

Among all Escorts is also a Ford Sierra from 1991, a normal Sierra from the looks of it, so you can't see that you are dealing with a Ford Sierra Cosworth. And yet this is a four-wheel drive Sierra with the bloody fast engine under the skin. A great collection, every Ford, a combination of engineering excellence and breathtaking performance that has earned its spurs in motorsport.

Models Siku and Bburago

Jan Freark and Jan Bastiaan started collecting car models as brothers. From an early age, the love for cars has never disappeared, with the result that they have been running the car company together since 2001. The foresight is clear: With the specials Fords from the 80s/90s, the foundation has been laid for a classic future for all these sporty youngtimers.

    • But in practice it was the other way around. Mk3 Escorts swept stronger cars off the track because of their handling. The famous RSI's, XR3i's and XR3 were lord and master on winding circuits between the GSI's, GTI, even 2.3-16's had to die, although all were stronger. The standard 1.6 CVH turned out to be difficult to tune due to its hemi-head flow, hydraulic tappets gave limitations, especially to be economical. A turbo and mechanical tappets was the first start.
