Sunday, August 14 was an English day with English weather. The first edition of Great British took place, a new event at the TT Circuit Assen. Until the afternoon it rained quite a bit on the circuit. Fortunately, when the sky became lighter in the afternoon, it was still nice and cozy. Nevertheless, all activities could take place, whether it was the first Great British Trophy on the track (with more than 20 MGs, Triumphs ed), the Best of Show in the competition with a Jaguar E-type as the winner. Many hundreds of cars came to Assen, of course from the dozens of brand clubs present, such as the MG Car Club, the TVR Club, Mini Seven Clib, NewMiniClub, Jaguar Daimler Club etc. Despite the rainy first part of the day, everyone is looking forward to a sunny edition in 2012.
