Every time you will be surprised how many grease nipples can be found on the wheel suspension, steering, drive of your classic car. And often they have to be provided with new grease every 1.500 kilometer. The amazing thing is that all those greasing points can be edited in 30 minutes with the help of a good grease gun. If you do not do that, the lubrication points will eventually run dry and damage will occur. Repair is often a time-consuming and expensive job. Think of the universal joints of a drive shaft, the stubs, the steering balls. In particular, steering balls and cross-pieces of drive shafts are nowadays alsosealed for life' for sale. They no longer need to be lubricated regularly. When greasing the wheel suspension, it is often wise to jack the car up so that everything 'hangs'. Then the chance that the fat reaches the right place is often greater. Before the tires touch the surface again, turn the handlebars a few times from one extreme to the other and then push a 'shot' of fat through the nipples. Before pressing the grease gun onto the nipple, clean the nipple just as well, because with 'sand' in the stubs, steering balls or universal joints, those parts only enjoy life for a short time ...
