There was a lot to see at Valkenburg Airbase last Sunday. That is why here are some nice pictures. After all, it is not often the case that so many cars of the same brand are present.

Saab was made by trolls. After all, they were located in the Swedish town of Trollhattan. If you look for what a troll does you will see that they are less friendly than they look in this picture.

In the mid-1970s, Saab introduced standard passenger cars with a Turbo. That was very subtly indicated on the left front screen. So that the optimist who stood at the traffic light to the left of a Saab knew in advance that he would not stand a chance in the sprint if the light turned green

Under the hood of this Saab there is more power present. Very nice to see and especially the pipes are very nicely made. Because you don't just bend that.

This car transporter is also very special. A commercial vehicle registration number has been issued. The crosser on the car uses Saab technology.

This is one of the former Saab types. You can clearly see that some time and energy still needs to be put into the car.

This is a nice photo of a three-cylinder two-stroke engine. After all, you don't see that every day. Only in the sixties were the Saabs equipped with four-stroke engines. The cars ran on so-called mixed lubrication. That's why they were able to smoke so wonderfully from the exhaust.

Very coincidentally, there was also a two-stroke brand from another brand on the air base. A DKW. The car was beautifully restored and the owner proudly showed everyone his motorcycle space. He told everyone who wanted to hear that no two-stroke petrol needed to be refueled. Under the hood was a separate reservoir for the two-stroke oil. It was mixed with gasoline

The chairman of the Saab club had addressed the audience. That was just after three o'clock, after two Saab planes had flown over the now numb journalists and reporters. Then Victor Muller appeared to tell a few things.
