Buckel Volvo Treffen 2015 has become a huge success
After 41 years, the German "Buckel Volvo Treffen" took place in the Netherlands for the first time.
The organizers - Anneke and Henk Bruins - can look back on a successful Buckel Volvo Treffen 2015.
During the Whitsun weekend, 56 Volvo Cat Bridges and Duett's came together to ride a ride through the most beautiful parts of Groningen, Drenthe and Friesland.
Two thirds of the group came from Germany and there was even a team from Switzerland.
Every day was started from Best Western Aduard. On Saturday, authentic Groningen was driven via the smaller and narrow roads around the Lauwersmeer.
On Pentecost the route went through Drenthe. The beautiful collection of the old Katteruggen and Duett's were parked in the courtyard of the Veenhuizen Prison Museum.
The day of Pentecost was dominated by Friesland, where Earnewald was visited and a round trip was made by 'De Alde Feanen'.
Photo club Noordenveld has photographed the Buckel Volvo Treffen and will soon be available on the site, http://www.fotoclubnoordenveld.nl
