A new source of old VW buses. Is that not what the world is craving now that the 'Made in Germany' VW buses have become (practically) unaffordable?

Fortunately there is salvation nearby. Although: Brazil is not that 'close' either.

But for decades VW Buses have been made in that dangerous but beautiful South American country. Since 1957, VW do Brazil has made 1.5 million vans.

The differences between the Original and the South American T1 / T2 buses (called 'Kombi's) are marginal, the price differences are considerable, with the last Kombis leaving the production line in 2012-2013. So there are quite a few 'fresh' copies.

There are now specialized traders and transporters to provide asylum for the southerners here

So if you have plans for a holiday to Brazil, then we have a tip for a nice souvenir with this
