To create extra support, the Rotterdam Classics Foundation has given opponents of the environmental zone the opportunity to sign the petition online. The intention is to ultimately hand them over to the politicians. 

The Rotterdam Classics Foundation continues to work hard in the fight against the imile zone in the port city. More than a month ago - on 12 March last - the opponents of the controversial zone organized the Coolsingel Oldtimer Meeting. Furthermore, the Foundation demonstrated that the effects of an environmental zone on air quality are negligibly small, and are disproportionate to the total emissions in the port city. It also emerged that the implementation of the measure so far already cost € 12 million. Incidentally, the Rotterdam Classics Foundation invokes the view that it is' in favor of clean air, but against the way in which the environmental zone is introduced and applied.

On January 1, the environmental zone in Rotterdam came into force for diesel-powered vehicles with a date of first authorization before 01-01-2001 and vehicles with petrol or LPG with a date of first authorization before 01-07-1992.

  1. Dear old-timer enthusiasts, I think I have a solution for all that nagging about pollution and emissions from old-timers. You must have heard it before; Hydrogen! A Hydrogen generator in your car, you put 7 amp. on and by electrolysis the water is split into hydrogen and oxygen. Through a small hose to the air filter, the engine sucks this automatically.
