The Black Douglas, just like that. And not as in 'dial' F 'for fake', but as in a kind of tribute to the days of yore.
The Black Douglas is made by Sterling engines, a company where the full name is Black Douglas Sterling.
The Jade Wonder and the Silent Gray, the Sport Imperial, the Original Drayton and the Claret Classic are a tribute to those days. The power sources are optionally 125 cc or 230 cc Honda clones from Taiwan. The assembly takes place in Italy.
And for people with a lazy leg: In addition to the kickstarter, there is just a start button. At the front is a girder fork.
The brakes are about the same size as shoe polish cans.
The consumption is close to the 1 on 30.
In terms of price, think of something from 5000 euros, ex VAT and Ex. BPM
I like it, too bad that the block does not look classic / contemporary. (eg an oil sight glass?)
