Trabant as a boat

In that Good Old Age, almost a quarter of a century ago, when the Eastern Bloc was still the Eastern Bloc and was separated from the Free (...) West by 'The Wall', among others, the former GDR, among other things, tinkered . We are talking about the status symbol that is called Trabant (too). The government took precedence over the population, so they built little boats at state yards to control 'the water'. The crew wanted to be 'dry', that is, not wet rain, under snow or ice, no wind, no storm. And so those boats were fitted with a cabin. Was just a matter of 'Just call Trabant' and there came the carriages ... Problem (...) solved. It looks like some hobbyist has put it together. Nothing could be further from the truth at state yards!
