In the Louwman Museum in The Hague you can see the McLaren retrospective from 7 July to 27 August, where a large number of street and racing cars from the legendary sports car brand have been brought together. The exhibition is opened by Amanda McLaren, the daughter of Bruce, the founder of the brand.

Ayrton Senna
The exhibition has a total of sixteen cars from private collections, various museums, McLaren Automotive in Woking (UK) and Louwman Exclusive. Displayed include the MP4-5B from 1990 with which Ayrton Senna became world champion. The collection also includes the legendary 1996 BMW F1 GTR Le Mans from Marc Duez, Jacques Lafitte and Steve Soper and the M8F Can-Am winner from Peter Revson from 1971. Of course the champion cars of Mika Häkkinen and Lewis Hamilton are not missing. Lovers of cars with a roof will also find what they are looking for: the P1 GTR in Harrods colors, an 12C Spider MSO 50th Edition and an 675LT Spider are also part of the exhibition. The brand new 720S is making its debut during the exhibition for the Dutch public.

Successes
According to Ronald Kooyman, director of the Louwman Museum, the exhibition gives a good impression of the brand: “McLaren has a wonderful history that we show to the general public through a special collection of cars. There are unique cars that have rarely or never been exhibited before. ”

Arjen van Beek, director of Louwman Exclusive, the Dutch importer of McLaren, about the initiative:

“The exhibition is important for the British brand. Not only do we show that McLaren has a rich history with great successes, the exhibition also makes it clear that today's cars benefit from the knowledge and experience gained in motor sport. Whoever chooses a McLaren, chooses a car brand to be proud of. ”

The exhibition 'McLaren' in the Louwman Museum in The Hague can be seen from 7 July to 27 August. Tickets can be ordered online via louwmanmuseum.nl.
