50 year Mini Seven Club

Saturday morning minis departed from five locations in the Netherlands who would drive to the assembly point via a "swan stick" route. Only a few Minis left from stop one but at stop four there were already 35 on most routes. And at the collection point in Rosmalen it turned out that a total of approximately 200 Mini's participated.

The rally shields were handed out, after which the procession left for the Beekse Bergen. The partygoers were received there with coffee and cake and a well-filled goody bag.

Feast
After everyone had set up their tent, most participants left by safari boat to the party room where a well-cared for barbecue was ready. The atmosphere was fast and only got better when the 12 male / female strong band started playing.

Outside a 'campfire' was lit where, thanks to the nice weather, many mini-drivers could be found. They had a nice chat about their Mini and other things. Unfortunately around midnight the safari buses were already at the door to bring everyone back to the campsite so the party went on.

The next morning everyone could join for a well-cared-for breakfast buffet with an almost inexhaustible supply of sandwiches and spreads. And at 11: 00 it was time for the next highlight of the weekend, with the Mini through the safari park.

85 Minis were considered by their owners to be able to complete this safari and luckily this went well. It produced beautiful pictures of Mini's between the cougars and giraffes and during the foot safari you could regularly receive surprised comments from visitors, “look at the giraffes and oh, look at those Mini in between, hey, there will be more that dare to say that .... "

Thanks to the good weather, the enthusiasm of the participants and the support from the sponsors and volunteers, the Mini Seven Club Nederland can look back on a successful anniversary party. And now on to the 55 anniversary….
