Like at the end of every winter season, we look forward to the Hardenberg Motor Market. The party for motorcycle enthusiasts that was normally organized at De Boshoek sports park. This year it will be March on 25 but now at a different location: "Manege Hoogenweg" in Hoogenweg. That is in the municipality of Hardenberg and there you are welcome from eight o'clock. You can enjoy the varied range of motorbikes, mopeds and related items for up to four hours. From classic to modern, in the riding school, tent and on the outside. More than seventy percent of these come from private individuals, the organization tells us. Many participants are also from Germany and that makes the offer much more interesting. Hardenberg is therefore 5 kilometers from the German border.
The Hardenberg motorcycle market is still fully run by the volunteers of De Gasschoeve, where cosiness is the most important factor. As a result, the admission price has been kept low so far and this year still only € 4, children up to and including 12 years free.
At the Hardenberg Motor Fair we also heard for the first time about the concept 'input position', for private individuals who want to sell some things, but do not want to stand behind it for a whole day. A small amount of commission is charged for this and everyone is happy.
