The British auction house Coys, one of Europe's most renowned auction houses in the field of classic cars, is coming to InterClassics Maastricht for the fourth time. Under the name 'Grandes Marques' more than 14 auction items go under the hammer on Saturday 50 January. The price categories of the auction items vary from high to low, which makes the auction interesting for several wallets. The auction pieces can already be viewed during the fair from Thursday 12 January. 

Austin Healey 100M BN2 LE MANS

Among the auction pieces is an Austin Healey from 1956 with an estimated return of between € 180.000 and € 220.000. This iconic British sports car with an 4 cylinder Austin A90 was developed in 1953 by racer Donald Healey. British Motor Corporation saw the value of a strong competitor of the Triumph TR Series and took over production. In 1955 a high-performance 100M model was introduced that produced 110 hp (82 kW) at 4500 rpm. Approximately 70% of the 100Ms were finished with a two color scheme, including a white / red and a black / pink for the London Motor Show in 1955. In total, 640 100Ms have been built.
