Where can you still find places in the Netherlands where the elements have free rein and have done their job for years? Where the beauty of the decline can still be seen? We found another beautiful place in Gelderland where some special emergency vehicles were resting (and rusting) peacefully.

By texts on the sheet metal we could conclude that the cars have served in the Czech Republic. This certainly applies to the Puch (sister model G class Mercedes) that was deployed as a rescue service for wild animals after his ambulance work.
In the bushes also a yellow German Ford, also in an ambulance version that served in the army, and later was active in the Netherlands at the Speelboom Plantage in Utrecht.
The red Ford FK 2500 Fire Truck shows no sign of recognition on the sheet metal.
We would have liked to hear the story behind this collection, how the owner managed to track down these cars. Despite many attempts, we were unable to identify the owner. We do have the impression that these special vehicles have not yet given up and work enthusiasts could make a rescue attempt, also because they can serve as a parts warehouse.
It is certainly true that among the classic enthusiasts there is also a fascination for decay, antiquity ... exudes tranquility. A life lesson is that, the tranquility and sadness that comes from such a place makes you think and realize that everything in life is temporary!

He also has a big dog!!!!
I don't think it's that hard to find the owner if you know where those things are ??
Somewhere in Gelderland it is very sketchy, or has the photographer forgotten where he was..
