The GTI Club Holland is organizing a major GTI meeting on and around the grounds of Porsche Center Gelderland & Porsche Classic Center in Heteren on Sunday 27 August for the second year in a row. The club expects many GTI fans from home and abroad during 'GTI Performance & More 2017'.

The theme of the second edition of the event is performance, speed and extreme (motor) tuning. Visitors also get an overview of all generations of the Golf GTI, the 'hot hatch' that Volkswagen has been building since 1976. All cars from the Volkswagen Group are welcome during the meeting.

Success of last year's source of inspiration for second edition

Last year the GTI Club Holland organized with great success the event 'GTI 40 years of fun' in Heteren. Then it appeared that after seven generations and more than two million built GTIs, the three letters 'GTI' had lost none of their magical appeal. This year the organizers therefore expect to welcome many enthusiasts with their cars. By taking 'tuning' as a common thread, the club takes into account more visitors than last year.

Many tuners

A number of well-known tuners from home and abroad are represented on the site in Heteren. Under the motto 'stepping up, but neat and tidy' they take their most special GTI to the event, including extreme performance giants with more than 500 hp. Air ride systems are also demonstrated where cars can go 'flat' at the touch of a button.

Best of Show election

GTI Performance & More 2017 will take place on 27 August between 12.00:17.00 and XNUMX:XNUMX. In addition to beautiful cars, the organization provides a live DJ, there is a food corner and the most beautiful GTIs qualify for the title of Best of Show. GTIs that meet the theme are selected by the organization for a VIP area. Members of the GTI Club Holland park in their own Club Area on presentation of a club pass and have free entrance. Admission for non-members is five euros, part of which is donated to Kika. Children up to and including twelve have free admission.
