But this year there was a large exhibition of self-built engines and there were a few motorcycles that proved that you don't need an 200 hp and dozens of digital slaves to make that power manageable to enjoy motorcycling.
The Enfield in its cafe racer look is a historical phenomenon that is in fact just a development from the fifties of the last century. The 'Mash 500', which by the way is not yet an 400 cc, is completely new in France and is manufactured in - how else could it be - in China.
New in terms of year of construction and on registration, but purely nostalgic in terms of experience. And for the easy ones among us: With warranty.
And what about the aluminum stripe on the muffler of the Enfield? Well: on arrival they are a bit too noisy according to Onze Wetten. The damper is cut, some extra filling is added and the case is welded again. And the weld gets a lick of silver paint. Endearing right? The importer assumes that everyone purchases a different seat and a different damper when purchasing. That is the Enfield by voice again.
