Purchasing classics there

Earlier? That's something for 'Old People'. We agreed on that yesterday. Of course we were among seniors. Because those under forty were busy with their careers, with Netflix or TikTok.

In the past you had men and women. They were destined for each other or condemned to each other. In the past you had Catholics and Protestants. They cursed each other based on the same book. One type happily sinned because confession was its USP, a unique selling point. The Protestants were born in sin and died in it. In the meantime, they were not happy, because they were sinning, but could not go to confession. There used to be car drivers and motorcyclists. Motorcyclists were motorists without money for a car (plus a few masochistic die hards).

Now there are not only homosexuals and bisensuals, but there is apparently an ever-expanding number of 'genders'. Someone who used to feel satisfied with the body and mind in which he/she functioned used to be 'normal'. Now such a person carries the label 'Cisgender'.

From a marketing point of view that seems more interesting. For the rest, there is now tailor-made solutions for everyone. Oh well: If you're happy with it, if you can love and are loved, that's all that matters. And urinating while sitting is healthier anyway and the toilet stays cleaner.

Catholicism and Protestantism are for the elderly plus some youth from the Bible belt where youth are still being produced and many - difficult to heat - churches are for sale. From a PR perspective, these old pillars are now mainly affected by internal company scandals such as exploitation and sexual abuse.

The Old Religions are being swept away by the relatively young and rapidly growing Islam, where the Koran, like the Bible, is used as a weapon of power instead of as a message of love and respect.

Motorcycling is no longer a weakness, but a lifestyle thing. Just like having a classic, an expensive racing or MTB bike, a camper, a sloop, a house in Drenthe or France and a convertible for sunny days. There are Gristen Motorcycle Clubs. There is at least one Islamic motorcycle club. There are motorcycle clubs for gays, lesbians and criminals.

As an older, sitting urination cisgender classic enthusiast, it doesn't really affect me. But if we all had a more open view and a more positive attitude towards each other, then I think life would become more pleasant and clearer. At least, that's what we thought last night. We still need to develop the idea a bit. Yet…

Oh yes: We agreed on one thing last night. Electrically powered motorcycles are not objectionable, but for members of the Homo Mechanici tribe they lack everything that makes motorcycling fun. But for the love of technology, such a Duracell racer would be useful for getting cigars and whiskey. Because in this weather an old Guzzi simply doesn't reach working temperature. And he punishes this with the production of impressive quantities of mayonnaise water/oil emulsion whose lubricating effect is limited.

Too bad those things are so expensive, but a Johammer e-bike would suit me. Because that will become a classic one day.

  1. Well, electrification is stagnating.
Because as long as the subsidy flows freely, everyone thinks green.
As soon as that stagnates, and the money tap to the government has to be opened again to pay for all subsidies, little will be left of all "convictions".

And as for the churches, war and poverty have always drawn people to the churches and/or places of worship.
But as soon as things go so well that we start asking parliamentary questions about the signs near the toilet, we think we can do it all ourselves.

By the way, I almost always pee standing up.
    Sitting makes such a mess.

  2. The electric vehicle thing is not something that is desired here either, on the contrary... For many years, after a lot of jobs and investments, the store has been gas-free and energy neutral/positive (until the end of netting), but in compensation a 48-year-old 7,2 liter V8 pick-up, a 21-year-old tuned Subaru WRX and a wonderfully smooth 18-year-old Aprilia RSV 1000R (I also parked that at the North Cape). Ok, the cars may be a bit of a church curse here, but it's the same kind of enjoyable rush. And not electric 😇

    • Everything used to be simple
whether you believed or not, war or not, now everyone has media
      everything must be labeled
survey LGBTI and the whole alfaBet on it, fortunately not animals, fortunately a motorcycle remains the same, only the design is not, which is sometimes changed due to a better driving experience, a bit futuristic but it remains a motorcycle

  3. The declining sales of electric vehicles and the bankruptcies of 'leaders in electrification' indicate that not everyone WANTS or CAN go electric.
As long as people don't start preaching (I'm sustainable and you're not...) I'm at peace with it...
Live and let live; Continuing to drive with old written-off junk is also sustainable... or have we spontaneously forgotten that definition of sustainable?
My side valves never get hot; not in winter, not in summer either.
Mayonnaise is for fries, or fries, depending on which book you believe.. 😉
